Late Ghanaian striker Junior Agogo was mourned by his former English team Bristol Rovers over the weekend in the league one championship by wearing his jersey number and name to warm up in a league game against Oxford United which ended in a 3-1 win for the "Pirates"
After the game Rovers manager, Graham Coughlan said in an interview with Bristol Live
"The lads put on the jerseys and I can't actually describe how tough it was taken back on Thursday when I heard the news I can't tell you how somber the place was. It was difficult and emotional,
He added, "The lads were brilliant, they wanted to go out and send a little message to Junior and thank him for not only what he did at Bristol Rovers but the career he had and the type of person and character he was. He was a special type of lad, to be fair."
Junior Agogo spent his longest club career in Bristol Rovers from 2003 to 2006 where he played 126 games scoring 41 goals and today his name was remembered for his great contribution.
